These Terms govern your access to and use of PeopleVote, including our website, app, candidate tools, voter resources, community features, and related services.
By accessing or using PeopleVote, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
PeopleVote is a nonpartisan civic engagement platform intended to help voters, candidates, and communities connect, compare information, ask questions, and participate in respectful civic discussion. PeopleVote does not endorse candidates, parties, or ballot positions unless expressly stated in an official notice.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account or candidate profile. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
You are responsible for content you submit, including profile details, posts, comments, questions, images, videos, event information, and campaign materials. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content and that it does not violate these Terms or applicable law.
Candidate profiles, verification badges, or transparency tools are provided to support trust and clarity. Verification does not represent an endorsement. PeopleVote may request additional information, decline verification, suspend profiles, or remove content if we believe platform rules or legal requirements have been violated.
PeopleVote may provide election, ballot, candidate, and issue information from users, public sources, partners, or third-party services. We work to support accuracy, but information may change. Users should verify official election deadlines, registration status, polling locations, and ballot information with official election authorities.
PeopleVote’s branding, design, software, text, graphics, logos, and platform features are owned by PeopleVote or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the platform except as permitted by law or written permission.
We may review, remove, limit, suspend, or terminate content, features, or accounts that we believe violate these Terms, our community guidelines, platform integrity rules, or applicable law.
PeopleVote is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, or that all content will be error-free. PeopleVote is not legal, political, financial, or election-administration advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PeopleVote and its owners, employees, contractors, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of PeopleVote after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
